ENG vs AUS 2nd T20I: England outgun Australia to level series

In an electrifying second T20I match of the ongoing three-match series, England outgunned Australia by three wickets to level the series 1-1 on Friday at Sophia Gardens. England’s remarkable chase was illuminated by Liam Livingstone, who played a cracking knock of (87) to help England chase a formidable target of 194 in just 19 overs. England’s new-look squad came hard on Aussies with exceptional performances, highlighting their pyrotechnics.
Australia, after being put to bat first, set a challenging target with a total of 193 runs. The innings was anchored by impressive performance from young J Fraser-McGurk, who seized the opportunity to score a well-constructed (50), while Inglis contributed a valuable (42), propelling the Australian total to a competitive score. Their efforts, however, were not enough to secure a victory as the England bowlers maintained pressure throughout their innings. Brydon Carse showed exemplary courage, taking two wickets.
In response, England demonstrated exceptional batting, led by Livingstone, who played a match-winning innings. His scintillating (87) was the cornerstone of England’s successful chase. Young Jacob Bethell provided a valuable contribution with his (44 off 24). The victory for England in the second game sets up a thrilling decider, which will be played on Sunday.
