Afghanistan to tour Zimbabwe for all-format series

Afghanistan are set to embark on a multi-format tour of Zimbabwe, beginning on December 9. The tour will feature a series of matches across all three formats, starting with white-ball games before transitioning to a much-anticipated Test series. Bulawayo will host Zimbabwe’s first Boxing Day Test in 28 years, followed by their first ever New Year’s Test. Both Tests will be held at the same venue.
The tour will kick off with three-match T20I series, scheduled to be played between 9-12 December. Following the T20I series, the action will shift to the ODIs, to be played between 15-19 December.
After the white-ball games, both teams will shift their attention to the two-match Test series, with the first Test set to be a Boxing Day fixture, to be played from 26-30 December. The second Test match will be played from 2-6 January. Afghanistan and Zimbabwe have played two Test matches against each other and both teams carry equal record with one win each from two Tests.
