New Zealand won the toss and elected to field in the Champions Trophy match against India on Sunday in Dubai. This is the last group stage match of the high-profile tournament.

However, this match holds extra significance for one player in particular - Indian cricket legend Virat Kohli. The match marks a significant milestone in his illustrious career, as he is set to play his 300th One Day International (ODI) match today. Kohli is coming off a beautiful century he scored during India’s match against Pakistan last Sunday.

As he takes to the field today, Kohli will join an exclusive club of cricketers who have reached the 300-match mark. Players to have reached this landmark are Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Rahul Dravid, Mohammad Azharuddin, Sourav Ganguly and Yuvraj Singh. The match is going to be incredibly competitive, with both sides having shown tremendous consistency in their past encounters of the Champions Trophy.

New Zealand Playing XI: Will Young, Rachin Ravindra, Kane Williamson, Daryl Mitchell, Tom Latham(w), Glenn Phillips, Michael Bracewell, Mitchell Santner(c), Matt Henry, Kyle Jamieson, William ORourke

India Playing XI: Rohit Sharma(c), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Axar Patel, KL Rahul(w), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy.
