Bangladesh to host Zimbabwe for two Tests

Bangladesh are set to host Zimbabwe for a two-match Test series beginning next month. This series comes after a shift in the original schedule, as the two teams were initially slated to face off in April 2024. However, at that time, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) made the decision to replace the originally planned Tests with five T20I matches.
The series will start on April 20, with Zimbabwe set to arrive in Bangladesh on April 15. The first Test will be held at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, while the second Test will be played at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium from April 28. Meanwhile, the series is not a part of the World Test Championship. This is Zimbabwe’s first Test tour to Bangladesh in five years.
