Women's World Cup Qualifier to be held in Lahore from April 9

The race for the final two spots in the 2025 Women's Cricket World Cup is about to heat up in Lahore, where the Women's World Cup Qualifiers is set to take place from April 9. The tournament will feature a fierce competition among six teams, with only two spots available in the main World Cup.
Apart from the host Pakistan, Bangladesh, Ireland, Scotland, Thailand, and West Indies will be competing for the two available spots. Pakistan will kick off the tournament against Ireland on a double-header opening day, with West Indies taking on Scotland in the next game. The qualifier games will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium and the Lahore City Cricket Association grounds.
Meanwhile, India, Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa and Sri Lanka have already qualified for the World Cup. The ODI World Cup 2025 is set to be playe in India in October-November.
