England name squad fo WI series, Sophie Ecclestone left out

England have named their squad for the upcoming white-ball series against West Indies women. They are set to host West Indies for three T20Is and as many ODIs. Issy Wong has returned to the squad for the first time since making her last appearance for England in September 2024. She has been included in England’s T20I squad. Sophie Ecclestone, who has been left out of both squads, is the notable absentee.
Nat Sciver-Brunt, meanwhile, will be making her captaincy debut in the T20I and ODI series. Batters Alice Davidson-Richards and Emma Lamb are also back in the side. Fast bowler Emily Arlott is set to make her international debut, having been added to both the T20I and ODI squads.
