TNPL 2025: All you need to know

The ninth edition of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) is set to kick off on Thursday (June 5), bringing together eight formidable teams eager to make their mark. Defending champions Dindigul Dragons, who are aiming to defend their title, will clash with LYCA Kovai Kings in the opening showdown on Thursday at SNR College Cricket Ground, Coimbatore. A total of eight teams are set to compete in the thrilling tournament, which will run until July 6, 2025.
All eight teams participating in the tournament are - Dindigul Dragons, Lyca Kovai Kings, Nellai Royal Kings, Chepauk Super Gillies, Idream Tiruppur Tamizhans, SKM Salem Spartans, Siechem Madurai Panthers, and Trichy Grand Cholas.
The TNPL 2025 season will follow a similar structure to previous editions, comprising a group stage followed by playoffs. The tournament will be held across four venues: SNR College Cricket Ground, SCF Cricket Ground, Indian Cement Company Ground and NPR College Ground.
