England are set to host India women in the second ODI match of the three-match series scheduled to be played on Saturday in Southampton. India lead 1–0 after a commanding win in the first ODI on Wednesday (July 16), handing England a surprise four-wicket defeat on home turf. India chased a competitive target of 259 in 48.2 overs, with solid contributions from Jemimah Rodrigues and Deepti Sharma, who slammed 48 and 62* runs, respectively.

Going into the second ODI, India, riding high, fresh from a red-hot win in the first game, would once again look to assert their dominance over England. On the other hand, England would eye a strong response to avoid falling 0–2 down in the series. They have a chance to reassert their supremacy on home soil, whereas India, building on their confidence, will challenge for back-to-back wins to seal the series win.
