Bangladesh recall Nurul Hasan and Saif Hassan for Asia Cup; leave out Mehidy Hasan
Bangladesh have named a 16-member squad for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, with Litton Das set to lead the troops. Wicketkeeper-batter Nurul Hasan and allrounder Saif Hassan have made their return to the side, but Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Mohammad Naim have failed to find a place in the squad. Both of whom were part of the squad that claimed a 2-1 series win against Pakistan last month.
Notably, the same 16-member squad will participate in the three-match T20I series against the Netherlands beginning on August 30. Bangladesh will begin their Asia Cup campaign against Hong Kong in Abu Dhabi on September 11.
