As the stage is set for another electrifying India-Pakistan showdown in the ongoing Asia Cup, Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav has exuded confidence in his team’s preparations ahead of the Super Four clash scheduled for Sunday at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. This will be the second meeting between the arch-rivals in the tournament in the span of a week, having already faced each other in the group stage clash last Sunday, where India secured a comprehensive seven-wicket victory, chasing down Pakistan's total with ease. That win has certainly boosted morale in the Indian camp, but Yadav is not taking anything for granted.

"I feel our preparations have been really good leading into the tournament. And we had three good games also. So we are actually focusing on what we can do best. We want to follow all the good habits, which we've been doing in the last two-three games. And we'll take it one game at a time," Suryakumar said on Saturday while addressing media.

The Indian skipper emphasised the importance of maintaining composure and executing plans effectively. Meanwhile, India enter the match against Pakistan on the back of three consecutive victories.

"But yeah, it doesn't give us an edge because we played them once and we had a good game. Of course, it will be a good game. We'll have to start well from scratch. And whoever plays well will win the game."
