SA vs AUS ODIs: Australia and South Africa eye competitive cricket

After making their complete dominance in the recently concluded T20I series, Australia will start their ODI campaign against South Africa with the first match scheduled to be played on Thursday at Mangaung Oval. This is the five-match ODI series which will be helping both teams in their preparations for the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023. So far, this has been an encouraging tour for Australia after their clean sweep victory in the three-match T20I series. Australia completed series whitewash by beating South Africa 3-0 in T20Is. Heading into the ODI series, Both teams would hope to start on positive note to keep the upper-hand in the series. ODI format is completely different from T20Is as South Africa could pose a great challenge to Australia. 

Mitchell Marsh will be leading Australia and would hope to lead the team repeat their T20I performance into ODIs. Australia will be helped by the likes of Marnus Labuschagne, David Warner and Travis Head in their batting. Australia also will be with their strong all-rounders like Marcus Stoinis and Cameron Green. For South Africa, the series defeat in T20Is would have jolted them as they would look forward to coming out with competitive performance. South Africa will have the powerful players in the form of Quinton de Kock, Rassie van der Dussen and Temba Bavuma.
