Gill soars to a career-best spot in ICC Men's ODI rankings
India’s young and rising star Shubman Gill has been extensively impressive with his batting performance since the start of the 2023 as he has scored quite consistently in the white-ball format. In the ongoing Asia Cup as well, Gill has largely been impressive with his performance. On the back of his performance in the India’s Super Four match of the Asia Cup against Pakistan, Gill has soared to a career-best No.2 spot in the ICC Men’s ODI rankings for batters. Skipper Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have also been benefited as they occupy the eight and ninth spot respectively. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma too have made their presence felt with their great performances. Virat Kohli had hammered (122) unbeaten against Pakistan while Rohit Sharma scored half-centuries against Pakistan and Sri Lanka respectively before hammering his half-century against Nepal.
