Trent Boult makes comeback in New Zealand’s T20I Squad for Australia series

New Zealand have named their T20I squad for the upcoming three-match series against Australia scheduled to start from next week. Pacer Trent Boult has made his return to the fold after making his last T20I appearance for New Zealand in 2022.
Kane Williamson and Daryl Mitchell have been omitted from the squad due to their respective causes. Mitchell is out due to going through recovery from foot injury, meanwhile, Williamson is on the paternity leave.
Trent Boult will be featuring in the second and third game, while Tim Southee will be available for the first game.
Mitchell Santner will be leading the team with Finn Allen, Mark Chapman and Devon Conway in the squad. Rachin Ravindra has too been included to solidify the lineup. Uncapped player Josh Clarkson has been handed the call. The first T20I will be played in Wellington on February 21, while the second and third game will be played in Auckland on February 23 and 25 respectively.
