Punjab look to overcome batting woes as they face high-flying Hyderabad

As the Indian Premier League continues to offer gripping cricketing action, Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad are gearing up to face each other in the 23rd match of the tournament on Tuesday at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur, Chandigarh. 

Both Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad will enter the match on the back of their victories in their previous games. Punjab Kings are coming off a win against Gujarat Titans, while Sunrisers Hyderabad thrashed defending champions Chennai Super Kings in their previous game.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, known for their strong bowling attack and explosive batting lineup, have been dealing in winning ways as they look to continue where they left off. Hyderabad are flying high, having put up the highest total ever in the Indian Premier League against Mumbai Indians. 

Punjab Kings, on the other hand, boast a formidable batting lineup featuring the likes of skipper Shikhar Dhawan, Jonny Bairstow, Prabhsimran Singh and Sam Curran, looking forward to having another riveting win. Punjab Kings’ bowling has been the backbone of their victories, while their batting attack has not shown the kind of aggressiveness which they are known for.
