Zimbabwe are set to host Sri Lanka for two ODIs and three T20Is between August 29 and September 7. The tour will begin with two ODIs, to be played on August 29 and 31, respectively, and the three T20Is are scheduled for September 3, 6, and 7, respectively. All matches will be played at the Harare Sports Club.

Notably, Zimbabwe have an extremely busy schedule as they are hosting South Africa for two Tests, starting June 28 in Bulawayo. Following the Test series, they will host a T20I tri-series featuring New Zealand and South Africa.

"We are delighted to confirm Sri Lanka's visit to Zimbabwe for what we expect to be a thrilling and competitive series," Givemore Makoni, Zimbabwe Cricket's MD said.

"Matches between our two nations have always produced entertaining cricket and this tour comes at a crucial time for our team as we prepare for the upcoming T20 World Cup qualifying campaign."

Both Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe last faced each other in 2024 in a three-match ODI series, which Sri Lanka won 2-0. All matches were played at R. Premadasa Stadium.
