Zimbabwe are set to host Afghanistan for a brief tour this October, featuring one Test and three T20Is, all scheduled to take place at Harare Sports Club, Zimbabwe Cricket confirmed on Wednesday. This marks a scaled-down version of the original itinerary listed on FTP, which had included two tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is.

The tour will begin later this month with the one-off Test from October 20 before the focus shifts to three T20Is scheduled on October 29, October 31 and November 2, respectively.

This also marks Afghanistan's second tour to Zimbabwe in less than a year. Their most recent was in December-January 2024-25, where they registered series wins across all three formats.
